It’s Saturday night, and that naturally calls for cocktails. I have seen several recipes for pumpkin martinis lately and decided that that sounded perfect for this evening, seeing as I have been doing pumpkin things for a few days. I didn’t really want to go out and buy a bottle of cream de cacao or some other liquor that we would rarely use, so I improvised based on what we had in the house.
This recipe is slightly based off of on I found at a new site I stumbled upon just tonight, We Are Not Martha.
•4 oz. plain vodka
•splash of vanilla extract
•1 oz. simple syrup
•2 Tablespoons Pumpkin Butter (It’s not just for breakfast anymore!)
•2 oz. cream
Fill a martini shaker full of ice. Add remaining ingredients. Shake until very cold and well mixed. Pour into two glasses and enjoy.
